Bernd Henningsen

Professor of Scandinavian studies and (founding) director of the Department of Northern European Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Has published Der Wohlfartsstaat Schweden (1991). Since 2004, visiting professor at the Centre for German Studies, Södertörn University and the International Science Center (ISC) at Örebro University. He is a Commander of the Swedish Order of the Polar Star.
