Irka Cederberg is a journalist and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. For two decades, she has monitored and reported on the Romanies’ situation in today’s Europe. She has contributed to a number of anthologies, e.g. Ett fördrivet folk: Antologi om förtryck och diskriminering av romer/zigenare/resande [A Banished People: An Anthology about Repression and Discrimination of Romanies/Gypsies/Travelers], Forum för levande historia 2005.
